Welcome to Mestépès - our corner of the Gers region of South West France, offering Gite and Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Whether you're travelling through, or are planning a holiday specifically to this region, our accommodation is the ideal solution if you want a beautiful and peaceful environment from which to explore the best the Gers has to offer.
Mestépès is set on a hill with 360% views of the beautiful and peaceful Gascon countryside, with glimpses of the Pyrenees.
Nearby are historic Bastide towns, traditional french markets, the internationally renowned Jazz festival at Marciac, country and western at Mirande and Tempo Latino in Vic -Fezensac. A little further afield, the Pyrenees and the Atlantic coast.
A five minute drive away is Castera Verduzan, with its thermal baths and beautifully kept swimming lakes.
For lovers of the natural world, orchids abound, as do nightingales, larks, red squirrels, hupus, kites, buzzards, wild boar, deer, starry nights.
A paradise for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and those who seek peace and tranquility.
And of course there is the traditional Gascon cuisine, wines, Armagnac, a variety of restaurants, and the gentle courteous Gascon hospitality.
We have two options. A tastefully restored Gite (formerly a Pigeonnier) with two double bedrooms sleeping two to four people in total, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and sitting room with wood burning stove.
